Variations & Comments: This is a great pattern to fish when midges are clustering or mating.  Especially when the clusters are not too big.  Even works well when the midges aren't clutering.  Find a current seam, back eddie, or fast water and watch for the noses coming out.  Give it a try.  When it is well-presented it can be deadly!!!
